It is clearly written, practical, filled with tips and tricks to extend your food budget and reduce waste, and most importantly, the recipes are delicious! While my family isn't vegetarian, they are happy to eat these flavorful meatless meals. Justin and Amy have a flair for flavor- both familiar and unexpected ingredients, combined in a creative way, make for memorable and repeatable dishes. I'm so excited to cook from this book. I honestly thought it would be just as good as the last couple books, but am certain this is my favorite yet! I am notoriously hopeless in the kitchen. I love to cook and especially eat, but my husband is known as the "chef". After reading and trying out a couple recipes, I immediately knew this book was written especially for me. A person who loves good veg food, but needs clear and easy recipes to follow. It is probably the most user-friendly I've used in a while. While reading, I felt like the authors wrote this book just for me. Ha! It's like talking to your best friend while they explain a favorite recipe to you. My favorite parts are the extras, like the "smart shopping" tips and "use it up" to make the most out of extra ingredients instead of tossing and wasting. I've been a vegetarian for several years, but my husband is a newbie. I've been searching and searching for good recipe ideas to keep him motivated. It's been stressful! I'm worried he won't like what I cook or won't be full, etc. This book has given me much more confidence and making sure he stays on a healthy diet. So far, he's loved everything we've tried, so I'm feeling good! All in all, this book is smart, fun to read, easy to follow and tasty.
